When we're always in a hurry
We could miss a precious chance
To witness what our God might do,
Our lives to bless or to enhance.
What a blessing just to pause,
To wait and listen for His voice.
Meeting Him in quiet times
Will bring much reason to rejoice!
"Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day."
