As summer yawns and soon will doze
Once again in long repose,
Autumn hastens near the door
To spread a warmth we can't ignore.
She'll bring color with great glee,
Displaying her great artistry
With orange and red, bronze and gold,
The whole wide landscape to enfold.
She'll leave a cheerful potpourri
So we will have fond memory
Of brilliant colors which amaze
To warm our hearts through winter days.
"The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord." Psalm 33:5 KJV
